There’s no pressure to be perfect or “fix” yourself in this therapy room, and I will encourage exploration of what living imperfectly may feel like. Life can feel exhausting, and I am here to make space for that. I aim to help all clients to find a greater sense of authenticity, community and joy in their lives, and that can start by acknowledging a starting point of discomfort and exhaustion. I specializes in working with individuals who are exploring their relationship with sexuality, whether in any form of partnership or single, as well as couples who may be struggling with sexual connection. I work with individuals and couples exploring intimate issues, and aim to make the therapeutic space one that feels comfortable and authentic to discuss taboo topics. I also specialize in body image concerns, disordered eating, complex trauma, anxiety, burnout, relational concerns, and am especially passionate about supporting clients in identity exploration. I encourage clients to show up authentically in therapy as themselves and to work alongside them as they create and live the life that feels aligned with their values, working through any external expectations or fears. Prior to entering the counseling space, I worked in public health and health education with college students and vulnerable populations, something that ignited my empathetic passion of helping people. I returned to my hometown of Atlanta to pursue counseling after 10 years. Outside of therapy, I am usually listening to Noah Kahan while crafting (ask me about her current knitting project or what I'm bedazzling at the moment), or sketching my next tattoo.
