I'm Molly, and I believe in the power of collaboration and connection. I received my Masters of Social Work through Boise State University in 2018 and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I have an undergraduate degree in Disability Studies, Art, and Spanish through the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I have additional specialized training in play therapy and parts therapy as related to Internal Family Systems (IFS). For the past 20 years I have worked in social services, beginning by supporting children and families impacted by disability and mental health. My professional work began by providing direct care to individuals in school and community settings, as well as case management to support clients in stewarding and accessing services as related to disability and mental health. As a result, I have a firm understanding of working from a systemic approach, and can support clients in understanding how to navigate our complex medical, educational, and mental health systems. Since 2019, I have provided clinical services to children, young adults, and families who are impacted by mental health and looking to effectively collaborate as a team to witness, act, and transform. Additionally, I have a passion for wild spaces and outdoor education. Since 2013 I have guided youth and families in outdoor wilderness areas in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota and the high desert and mountains of northern Utah, after completing outdoor education and leadership training through North Carolina Outward Bound. I believe in a holistic and strengths based approach, using a variety of modalities and theories to support the individual and/or family in their therapeutic work. We will collaborate and partner together to achieve your mental health goals. I utilize various modalities of Play Therapy, including Child Centered Play Therapy and attachment based play, parts work, as related to Internal Family Systems, the Interpersonal Neurobiological Model of Thearpy, narrative therapy, mindfulness based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and systems theory to inform my practice.
