Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’ve spent much of your life navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, or challenging relationship patterns. My approach is to meet you where you are and work collaboratively to help you better understand what’s been holding you back and what you need to move forward. I provide trauma-informed, person-centered therapy for adults, adolescents, couples (including ethically non-monogamous and non-traditional relationships), and families. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences, identity, attachment patterns, and current stressors impact your emotions and relationships. You are the expert on your life, and therapy is a collaborative process focused on building insight, coping skills, and self-compassion. I have extensive experience working with marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and individuals impacted by the justice system. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Existential Therapy to support healing, emotional regulation, and healthier relationship dynamics. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Treatment is tailored to your goals, values, and lived experience. If you’re looking for a therapist who values authenticity, collaboration, and social context, I would be honored to support you.
