Our personal histories, cultural backgrounds, and early relationships shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. As a South Asian therapist and daughter of immigrants, I understand the challenges of balancing different cultural expectations and identities, a perspective that deeply informs my work. I believe that everyone has inner resilience, and that therapy can be a catalyst for meaningful change. In our sessions, all parts of you are welcome as we reflect on how you navigate your experiences and take intentional steps towards growth and self-discovery. I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship conflicts, and identity challenges, often being pulled in multiple directions and overwhelmed by experiences that seem too big to manage alone. Drawing from my graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University where I earned a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling, therapy with me is about more than understanding patterns that may be holding you back, but also building practical skills and taking concrete steps toward a life that feels aligned with who you truly are. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, utilizing mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Seeking therapy is a courageous step in taking control of your well-being, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to support and walk alongside you.
