Introduction

Welcome. I’m Brenda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing trauma-informed counseling for adolescents, adults, and elders in the Treasure Valley. You might be here because life feels overwhelming, leaving you anxious, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, or because you’re ready to gently work through past trauma in a way that feels safe and manageable. I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), domestic violence, sexual abuse, and complex trauma, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I utilize evidence-based therapies including EMDR, TF-CBT, and TBRI, while integrating elements from other modalities that best suit each person. I also value continued learning and ongoing professional development to provide thoughtful, research-informed care. I believe our minds and bodies are capable of healing, even when it may not feel that way. Therapy offers a space to explore your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. My goal is to support you in finding a steadier path forward and moving toward emotional wellness with greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.
