Reaching out for support for your child or family can often feel overwhelming. You may not know what to do or what to expect. You may be noticing your child struggling with big emotions, behavior changes, relationships, or you may simply sense that your child is having a hard time. You want a place where your child can feel safe, understood, and supported. I focus on working with children, adolescents, and families, with particular attention to being able to increase emotional regulation, show healthy expression of feelings, ease relationship challenges, and manage stressors that impact a child’s day-to-day life. I believe healing begins in relationship. I am licensed in both North Carolina (LCMHC) and South Carolina (LPC) and have 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I often use play- and activity-based therapy to help children and teens communicate, process, heal, and grow. I am supportive and encouraging but can be direct when needed for support. I see therapy as a collaborative process with both children and the people who love them, offering warmth, support, and tools that strengthen the whole family. It is an honor to walk alongside families during these seasons. When you feel ready to take that next step for your child and family, I would be honored to connect with you.
