Born and raised in Oregon, I earned my Bachelor's of Psychology from Western Oregon University in 2008. Before earning my master's degree, I worked in Children's Mental Health where I learned a lot about family of origin, attachment, trauma, and became familiar with resources in the Willamette Valley. After earning my Master's in Social Work at Portland State University in 2014, I worked for 7 years at a local hospital in Palliative Care as a Medical Social Worker. I started my private practice in Salem in 2020. I have obtained training in CBT, mindfulness, goal directed work, and motivational interviewing; I am EMDR Certified and IFS (internal family systems) informed. I specialize in working with adults with anxiety, trauma, attachment difficulties, and life transitions. I also have a passion for working with neurodiverse individuals. I do not have a cookie cutter approach. I prefer to get to know the person, their story, their strengths and needs, and we work together to determine a treatment plan that makes the most sense for them. I see individuals between the hours of 10am and 3 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, plus Monday afternoons and Friday mornings as well.
