Introduction

Hope Again Every person has a story worth telling How I Can Help Over the past twenty-five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples, and families in schools, universities, residential treatment, community mental health, and private practice. Throughout my career, I have worked with people from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, socioeconomic, and faith backgrounds, and I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where every client feels respected, understood, and valued. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, life transitions, and the effects of difficult or painful relationships. As a certified provider of the Parenting with Love and Logic® curriculum, I incorporate the principle of leading with empathy, believing that people of every age are most able to grow when they first feel understood, accepted, and safe. My Background I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed advanced postdoctoral training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at The New Center. Throughout much of my career, I have supervised therapists and have enjoyed helping clinicians develop confidence, deepen their clinical thinking, and discover their own authentic therapeutic voice. My supervision style is collaborative, reflective, and encouraging, with an emphasis on ethical practice and the therapeutic relationship. My Approach Whether you’re seeking therapy because of anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, parenting difficulties, grief, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, my hope is to offer a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I believe healing begins with curiosity rather than judgment, compassion rather than criticism, and the understanding that every person has the capacity to grow. For me, therapy is not about fixing people. It is about helping people become more fully themselves. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment theory and enriched by training in trauma-informed care, EMDR, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy. Together, we’ll seek to understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape your life so you can experience greater freedom, healthier relationships, and lasting change. What You Can Expect Clients and colleagues often describe me as warm, soothing, thoughtful, insightful, and hopeful. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to grow. It is a privilege to walk alongside people during some of life’s difficult moments. My hope is that, together, we will deepen your self-understanding, strengthen your relationships, and help you discover new possibilities for healing and hope. Because no matter where your story has taken you, hope is never beyond reach. Sometimes, together, we find hope again.
