My therapeutic practice focuses on supporting adults who are experiencing grief related to the loss of a loved one or transitions in identity, relationships, roles, or life status. I draw primarily from feminist and cognitive-behavioral theories to support clients. I also utilize humanistic grief models, such as narrative reconstruction, to address grief. In addition to my graduate degrees in counseling and counselor education, I hold a graduate certificate in grief, loss, and trauma. I also regularly conduct research to support my clinical practice. You can read more about my work at my website: https://www.nancythackerdarrow.com/. Across the 10 years I have spent as a counselor or professor, I have been honored to work with folks from diverse backgrounds. I am happy to accommodate counseling to meet your unique needs. Please reach out via the contact form with your availability, and I will follow up soon after. I look forward exploring possibilities of working together!
