Introduction

Helping women and teens reconnect with themselves after trauma, burnout, and major life transitions. Specialties • Trauma & EMDR • Women’s Issues & Postpartum Support • Burnout & Life Transitions • Teen Emotional Regulation & Identity Development Hi, I’m Nancy, a trauma-informed social work intern who works with women and teens navigating burnout, life transitions, and healing from difficult past experiences. I was drawn to this field through a deep interest in how people rebuild their sense of self after challenging seasons in life. I believe that with the right support, people can better understand their experiences, strengthen their resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I specialize in supporting women through postpartum changes, identity shifts, caregiving stress, and other major life transitions that can leave people feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves. I also work with adolescents who are learning how to understand big emotions, build a stronger sense of identity, and develop healthy coping skills as they prepare for adulthood. My approach integrates trauma-informed care, EMDR, and evidence-based practices that help clients regulate their nervous systems, process past experiences, and build practical tools for everyday life. I aim to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and developing a stronger sense of stability and self-trust. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a major transition, therapy can provide a place to slow down, gain perspective, and begin creating meaningful change. I hope you put something down today. Big hugs! ♥️
