Introduction

I'm Nastassja Hanna, LPC, founder of Lumen Counseling. I provide evidence-based telehealth therapy to adults and older adolescents throughout Pennsylvania. I became a therapist because I'm passionate about helping people understand why they think, feel, and behave the way they do—and equipping them with practical tools that lead to meaningful, lasting change. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to grow, overcome obstacles, and create lasting change. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, understand the underlying factors contributing to your struggles, and develop practical strategies tailored to your goals. My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Positive Psychology to help clients build resilience, develop healthier patterns, and achieve meaningful, lasting change. As a Christian therapist, I welcome clients from all backgrounds. For those who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate a biblical worldview into the counseling process while maintaining evidence-based clinical care.
