Introduction

I’m a transgender woman, and I know how much it matters to have a therapist who understands without needing you to explain or defend who you are. I work with LGBTQIA+ adults of all genders and sexualities, and I believe therapy should make room for all of you.. not just your identity. Maybe you’ve spent years making yourself smaller, or you’re navigating coming out, transition, anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, burnout, substance use, or relationships. Together, we can explore what’s keeping you stuck, and work toward a life that feels more authentic and connected. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with person-centered, feminist, and parts-informed approaches. We can explore old patterns, make space for difficult feelings, and find ways to move toward what matters to you. We’ll work together, at your pace. I bring lived understanding of identity, transition, and minority stress, but I won’t assume your story looks like mine. Whether you’re looking for support around identity or something else, we’ll start where you are. You don’t have to do this alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we might be a good fit. Feel free to visit my private practice website to learn more at: www.wanderlightcounseling.com
