Introduction

Natalie Jensen graduated from the University Of Utah with a Masters in Social Work. She has been a family therapist working with children, families, and adults at a mental health center for 8 years. She has practiced through The Children’s Center, is on the board of Directors for Kampala KOSTOPULOS Foundation as well as a published author. She specializes in trauma, grief, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem, and depression. Natalie uses the modalities of play therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Sand Tray (for children), and listening. She believes that the most important aspect is really hearing what a person has to say, and being present and compassionate through the process until a solution is found. Natalie has two children who live with disabilities. She has a good foundation navigating the medical arena, school setting, state support for families, and the help and understanding needed at home. Natalie also owns a cupcake business, which has only increased her therapeutic understanding by managing various situations, working with people, and finding resolutions. Cupcakes bring out smiles!! She enjoys reading, movies, concerts, and taking care of her two children.
