Introduction

It takes courage to admit you need support — and reaching out is the first step toward the change you're looking for. I'm Natalie Martin, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Founder of Desert Breeze Counseling, and I help clients move from surviving to thriving, becoming the best version of themselves. My areas of clinical focus include trauma, mood disorders, marriage and family challenges, stress management, and self-esteem. I specialize in trauma and DID, and frequently work with veterans and first responders. I take an eclectic approach, specializing treatment to fit each client's needs. For trauma, I use EMDR, structural dissociation, and narrative therapy, along with DBT, CBT, and solution-focused methods. In-person sessions may also include visits from my two dogs, Milo and Bernard, who often bring a sense of comfort and calm to the room.
