If you're someone who appears to have it all together on the outside but feels anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, stuck, or disconnected on the inside, you're not alone. Many of the people I work with are high-achieving professionals who are accustomed to caring for others while quietly struggling themselves. I'm a psychiatrist with specialized training in perinatal and reproductive psychiatry, having completed my adult psychiatry residency and fellowship in reproductive psychiatry at Columbia University/New York State Psychiatric Institute. My academic background—BS in biology from Howard University and MD, PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine—shaped my deep interest in the biological and psychological dimensions of mental health across the lifespan. I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the unique mental health considerations surrounding pregnancy, prenatal care, and postpartum adjustment. I also have expertise in treating mild to moderate ADD/ADHD. I'm currently accepting new individual clients and offer telehealth appointments. I accept cash pay, out of network and starting in December 2026 will begin accepting Aetna insurance. If you're seeking psychiatric care tailored to your specific needs, I'd welcome the opportunity to meet with you.
