Introduction

Individual Counseling I offer individual counseling sessions for adults and teens ages 14 and older. I have the ability to see both Oregon and South Carolina residents online and have limited availibity for in-person sessions, located in Anderson South Carolina. I use an integrative approach, incorporating Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Structural Feminist Theory, and somatic interventions. I hold the belief that in order to strengthen our relationships with others, we must first strengthen our relationship with ourselves. Some of my areas of focus include (but aren't limited to): disordered eating behaviors, body image concerns, depression and anxiety symptoms, family issues, life transitions, impacts from systemic violence and trauma. I am neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC affirming and knowledgeable. Lastly, I use a Health at Every Size (HAES®) lens when working with all of my clients, no matter the presenting concern. As a Certified Body Trust® Provider I encourage clients to move towards body neutrality and radical self-acceptance using a body liberation lens. I try my best to make counseling as accessible as possible, that is why I reserve a few sliding scale spots for those experiencing financial hardship or otherwise would not be able to access counseling without a reduced fee. Please do not hesitate to inquire if this applies to you. I know starting therapy can be difficult, that is why I offer a free 20-minute consultation to answer any questions you may have and assure we are a good match before moving forward. Contact me today! Supervision In addition to offering individual counseling, I have current clinical supervision availibity for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPCA) & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associates (LMFTA) registered in Oregon. I believe that the success of a supervisory relationship is determined by the strength of the relationship and the willingness of the supervisor to allow for collaboration, feedback, and equity. I primarily use an integrative feminist, developmental, and multicultural approach to supervision. I encourage my supervisees to center their own lived and clinical experiences to help guide their therapeutic approach and client conceptualizations, all while acting as a supportive mentor. I am especially a great fit for perspective supervisees who hope to work, or are currently working with, individuals experiencing body image concerns and/or working on their relationship with food. I am happy to provide more information about my supervision approach and style during a free consultation call where we can assess if I am the right fit for you and your supervision needs, contact me today for more info and to set up a call! Me I am a white, currently able bodied, fat, cis, queer woman. I obtained my Master of Science degree from Portland State University, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, in 2020. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Oregon and South Carolina. I am originally from Boise, Idaho where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I became a counselor because I am a naturally curious person and love getting to know people on a deep, personal level. I always feel honored when someone lets me in on their ways of thinking and feeling and appreciate getting to know and understand different ways of living and perceiving the world. When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening, reading, hiking, kayaking, swimming, making art, playing trivia, traveling, and writing songs about my dog Penny.
