If you’re hoping to • nurture your relationship with yourself in all of your dimensions, as well as with the people and world around you • be witnessed in the complexity of your experience, including pain, sadness, joy, anger, excitement, and shame, all of which are welcome • learn how to understand the wisdom in your embodied experience, emotions, reactions, and desires • lean into compassion for and curiosity about yourself • explore how your sociocultural environment impacts you • practice caring for yourself in ways that extend beyond traditional ideas of “self-care” • identify your desires, passions, needs, and values and learn how to honor them I would be honored to join you on that journey. Together we’ll create a space where you can feel safe enough to be as you are, sit with the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself from pain and hurt, and gently turn toward what has been difficult, allowing it to be felt and witnessed. With compassion and curiosity, we will discover and nurture what empowers you to love and trust yourself more deeply. We will embrace your humanity and realness while gently loosening the grip of shame, always making space to appreciate how far you have come and who you are now. I’m a first-generation, multi-racial Filipino American woman from just outside St. Louis, Missouri, and I care deeply about social justice, which I intentionally bring into my work as a therapist. I also like to think I’m kind of funny, so if you're open to joining me on the playground of therapy, I invite you to reach out and see how we connect!
