Introduction

Love's Restoration Counseling is founded on the belief that meaningful healing occurs by addressing attachment wounds, unhelpful thought patterns, and maladaptive behaviors that often develop in response to difficult life experiences. Many of the challenges we face are rooted in earlier experiences that shaped our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. While these patterns may have once served a protective purpose, they can eventually limit our ability to experience fulfillment, healthy relationships, and emotional well-being. At Love's Restoration Counseling, therapy is grounded in the healing power of a safe, compassionate, and authentic therapeutic relationship. Through evidence-based interventions, self-exploration, and collaborative care, clients are supported in restoring their sense of self by cultivating self-compassion, challenging limiting beliefs, and developing healthier cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns. My goal is to empower individuals to heal from the past while building a more intentional and meaningful future. The name, Love's Restoration, reflects the core philosophy of this practice: that healing is rooted in love, acceptance, and growth. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, each person has the capacity to emerge from adversity with renewed strength, resilience, and hope. Restoration extends beyond symptom relief—it encompasses the whole person, including one's relationship with self, others, and, when meaningful to the individual, spirituality. I believe that love—in the form of compassion, connection, and acceptance—is a transformative force and an essential foundation for lasting healing. Life often presents unexpected challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, isolated, or uncertain. You may be navigating feelings of insecurity, a lack of direction, or difficulty managing life's transitions. During these times, reaching out for support can feel vulnerable—especially when opening up to someone new. I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, authenticity, and mutual respect. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate distress and build a more balanced, fulfilling life. If you find yourself overwhelmed by constant worry, overthinking, perfectionism, or the pressure to always achieve more, you're not alone. Whether you're struggling to relax, prioritize your own needs, or manage fear and uncertainty, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand your experiences and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy should be tailored to your unique goals, strengths, and challenges. Using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, reflective conversations, and practical skill-building, I help clients increase self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional resilience. Together, we may also explore the influence of your family of origin, longstanding thought and behavior patterns, and emotional experiences to gain deeper insight into what is shaping your present. In today's fast-paced world, it can be difficult to slow down, tune out the noise, and reconnect with what truly matters. Therapy offers an opportunity to pause with intention, identify barriers to growth, and better understand how your life experiences have influenced the person you are today. My goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your healing journey. If this resonates with you, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and well-being. Professional Background: -Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at University of Tennessee at Martin -Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Freed-Hardeman University I have experience working in private practice, residential treatment facility, intensive outpatient therapy, and school-based services.
