Introduction

As someone who has experienced depression and loss, I understand how we can be impacted by feelings of hopelessness and how one can heal and gain a new perspective on life. Hello, my name is Nathan Foust, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have over 9 years of experience in the Mental Health field in various positions in residential facilities, skills building, case management, and crisis intervention. I have been practicing Mental Health Counseling for the past 4 years. I work with a wide variety of clients looking to process and heal from traumas, learning skills to cope with anxiety, or to address depression and regain a sense of meaning in their lives. Some individuals face significant life transitions, and I assist them with navigating these as well. I believe in client voice in treatment. As such, I use a variety of techniques to meet individual needs. Some of these techniques include cognitive reframing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, developing a stronger sense of self and meaning through Existential Therapy, and building a nurturing, healing environment through Person Centered Therapy. I look forward to assisting you with your healing journey. The path can feel difficult, but it is ultimately rewarding. It is my hope that we can form a meaningful alliance and navigate the challenges of life in a safe and respectful environment. If you feel that you may benefit from working together, please reach out and we can speak further.
