Hello, my name is Neanna Lamora, and I am a Student Intern pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Keiser University. Before entering the counseling field, I served for six years in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic and later worked in healthcare leadership and health education. My experiences supporting individuals through medical, emotional, and life challenges inspired me to pursue counseling as a way to help others create meaningful and lasting change. As a counseling intern, I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to share their experiences and work toward their goals. I believe that every person has strengths that can be built upon, and I view counseling as a collaborative process that empowers clients to navigate challenges and improve their overall well-being. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, and personal growth. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether you are experiencing a difficult season of life, struggling with emotional challenges, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping you develop practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and build resilience. I am honored to be part of your journey and look forward to supporting you as you work toward your goals.
