Hi! I'm Neha (she/her/hers), a graduate clinical intern at Neutral Ground Counseling Group in Fairfax, Virginia. As a South Asian therapist and an LGBTQ+ ally I am able to show up to our sessions with a culturally informed and nonjudgmental lens. Culture, family expectations, and identity play a huge role in how we experience stress, relationships, and change. I want my clients to feel like they can bring their whole self to session without having to explain or downplay any part of who they are. My approach to therapy is person-centered. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives. My goal is to create a collaborative, non-judgmental space where you feel safe enough to be honest about what's really going on beneath the surface. Starting therapy can be hard. It means opening up to someone new, sometimes about things you've never said out loud before. My goal is to make that first step feel a little less scary. I’m here to create a warm space where you feel truly heard as you figure out what you're carrying and where you want to go next. As a graduate clinical intern I am an advanced graduate student completing my final clinical university rotation. I offer a highly affordable out-of-pocket Self-Pay rate. I will be receiving ongoing supervision from Dr. Sally Harney, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, ACS to gain clinical guidance and assure high-quality care.
