Nicholas is the owner and psychotherapist of Broad Winged Counseling. His work is grounded in somatic therapy and the Hakomi method, a mindfulness-based approach that helps clients explore how core beliefs and past experiences live in the body and shape the way we relate to ourselves and the world. Nicholas believes that many of the struggles people carry—anxiety, chronic tension, difficulty feeling safe or at ease, or getting stuck in repeating patterns—are not signs that something is wrong with them, but adaptations the nervous system developed in response to past experiences. Therapy becomes a process of gently bringing awareness to these patterns so the body can soften, reorganize, and discover new possibilities. His approach is collaborative, experiential, and grounded in curiosity and respect for each person’s unique path. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or behaviors, Nicholas helps clients slow down and listen to the wisdom of the body through mindfulness, breath, and somatic awareness. Nicholas works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, sexuality, and questions of identity and purpose. He is particularly passionate about supporting clients seeking deeper self-understanding, more authentic ways of living, and greater alignment between their inner world and the life they want to create.
