My path to becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker was not linear, but it provided me with a lot of unique experience that has helped me find my passions. I graduated from Temple University in 2016 with a Master of Social Work, and became a Licensed Clinical Social Work in 2020. I have over 10 years worth of experience working in community mental health and clinical support. In my work, I’ve learned to focus on developing relationships with my clients from a trauma informed perspective while incorporating multiple therapeutic approaches to best meet the needs of the individual. My interests have guided me to further my skills in working with trauma survivors, treating sleep disorders, and helping folks develop emotionally intelligent and successful relationships. I’m currently trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), for those struggling with insomnia & sleep disorders. I am also trained as a Certified Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner, which incorporates neurobiological (body work) interventions for trauma work.
