I have spent a significant portion of my career working with clients who have identified themselves as LGBTQIA and folks that are in communities of color. The issues that these communities face are very important to me. In this time of uncertainty, I look forward to providing service and support to each individual that crosses my path. I look to create a plan alongside my clients that honors their past and present, to have the future that they want for themselves. To do that, I use an integrative and collective approach to include: client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths based, and solution focused therapyMy therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. I believe in the importance of creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
