Introduction

I specialize in supporting children, teens, adults, and mothers navigating anxiety, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges, depression, self-doubt, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I help clients better understand their emotions, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and feel more supported as they navigate challenges in their relationships, school, work, family life, and personal growth. I recognize that every stage of life comes with its own challenges. For children and teens, therapy may focus on managing big emotions, anxiety, school stress, friendships, self-esteem, family changes, ADHD, executive functioning, and adjusting to growing independence. For adults and mothers, therapy may include support with anxiety, stress, relationships, boundaries, self-confidence, parenting, changing family dynamics, work-life balance, and feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities. I also support clients through life transitions and periods of adjustment. These may include starting or changing schools, entering adolescence, graduating, beginning college, starting a new job or career, moving, changes in friendships or relationships, marriage or divorce, family changes, becoming a parent, adjusting to motherhood, returning to work, or navigating a new stage of adulthood. Therapy can provide a supportive space to process these changes while developing practical strategies for managing the emotions and uncertainty that can come with them. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and individualized to each client. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients better understand connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful goals. For clients and families who would like their personal faith incorporated into therapy, I also offer faith-based interventions upon request. The role of faith in therapy is guided by each client’s individual beliefs, values, preferences, and comfort level. My approach is warm, validating, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly and exploring difficult emotions and experiences without judgment. Together, we work toward greater emotional regulation, self-awareness, confidence, healthier communication, and coping skills that support meaningful and lasting growth.
