Have you found yourself saying “I’m fine” when you know that’s the farthest thing from the truth. Often times it feels too painful or too vulnerable to be honest with our story to others and even ourselves. The events of our story can often create a disconnected internal world far from our most authentic self. In this isolated space, emotions can vary from numb and out of touch to overblown and out of control. When we are able to accept that this pattern is no long working for us (which I know is a hard truth to step into) and have the courage to face the disruptions that led us there, THAT is where healing can begin. I work with clients in life transitions, experiencing grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use, and women’s issues. I have training and experience in evidence based approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness based practices. In this space, I aim to provide you with safety, support, compassion, and a trusting relationship so that YOU can stand in courage to share your story, fears, vulnerabilities and pain. "Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we'll ever do" -Berne Brown
