Introduction

My goal & focus in life has been to help and support others & I have been working in careers in the helping field for over the last 25 years. Personal experiences with trauma along with mental health struggles led to research & education for methods that effectively support mental wellness & the healing of trauma. Uncovering benefical techniques to support my own mental health & wellness has strengthened my knowledge & abilities as a professional. Building on the experience I gained as an educator, working over 10 years in the public school system, led to the passion I now have for sharing this knowledge with others. By sharing essential skills & information, my goal in life is to lighten burden and relieve suffering in others. The desire to help others along with the role as a counselor having been woven in to many positions held, it was a natural transition into the mental health field where I have been working for over 15 years. Experience in Private Practice & Community Counseling office settings with adults, youth, & families transitioned to Telehealth services during covid. The dream of starting a private therapy practice became reality in 2022. Providing Telehealth Psychotherapy & Coaching to individuals who reside in VA.
