Hello and welcome — I’m Nicole Cho, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, creativity, and understanding. While I work with clients of all ages, I specialize in supporting children, teens, and families through emotional, behavioral, and relational struggles. As an American-born Chinese (ABC), I serve as a cultural bridge, helping individuals navigate the complexities of both Chinese and American cultures. I understand firsthand the unique challenges that come with balancing these cultural identities and am committed to helping clients bridge any cultural divides to foster connection and growth. My therapeutic approach is warm, relational, and personalized through the Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual model. I’m certified in the Connected Parenting Model, which emphasizes emotional connection, healthy boundaries, and co-regulation to strengthen the parent-child relationship. I also incorporate my Creative Expressive Arts Therapy Certification training, offering clients—especially children and adolescents—a creative and non-verbal way to process emotions and build insight. For clients who desire a faith-based perspective, I have my Foundations in Biblical Counseling from CCEF and can integrate Biblical counseling into our work together with sensitivity and care. Whether you're navigating parenting challenges, overcoming anxiety or trauma, addressing relational or cultural differences, or seeking guidance for personal growth, I’m here to support you on your path to healing, growth, and connection.
