For my clients, it is important for to present with a warm, empathetic demeanor while employing a direct and balanced viewpoint. I am not a "blank slate" therapist and take pride in the fact that I lead with my humanity. As a person with chronic illness, I understand firsthand how invisible disabilities can impact employment, personal relationships, and the ability to feel safe and trust your own body. My practice strives to create a non-judgmental environment that is genuine and compassionate. Seeing the world through rose colored glasses doesn’t resonate with everyone. I believe that your experiences and perspective are valid and deserves to be a priority for all members of your care team.
