My name is Nicole Evans and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been practicing and learning for the last 10 years. I recognize asking for help and coming into therapy is a huge challenge for most. My goal is to help you feel comfortable when sharing vulnerable emotions at a pace that feels safe and healing, all while learning coping skills and tools to help navigate what comes up for you. We will work together to recognize elements of your life that are and are not serving you, and through kind, direct and engaging feedback, I hope to help you uncover and strengthen what is helping you, and work to shed what is not. Whether you are struggling with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, or just want someone to talk to, my goal is for you to leave our sessions with a better understanding of who you are, insight into why you are how you are, and to hopefully learn how to appreciate all of who that person is. By creating a warm, non-judgmental, and open space, I hope to help you lead a more authentic life where you feel in control and can positively embrace who you are.
