I believe therapy begins with creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and valued without judgment. I work with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, work stress, relationship or attachment concerns, chronic illness, and difficult life transitions. My background includes extensive work with trauma survivors and experience in high-stress, rapidly changing environments. My prior work in law enforcement also shaped my understanding of crisis response and strengthened my commitment to helping people access meaningful mental health support. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we can work toward understanding patterns that may be keeping you stuck, developing practical coping strategies, strengthening relationships and communication, and building greater stability and resilience. Getting started can be as simple as reaching out to schedule an initial appointment. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to change, and how we can work together toward goals that feel meaningful to you. to clients.
