I know that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, intimidating, or even unnecessary at times. You may be wondering if your concerns are “serious enough,” if therapy will actually help, or if you’ll have to talk about things you’ve been trying hard to avoid. I believe it’s important to name that openly—because those feelings make sense. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, and periods of emotional overwhelm or transition. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and skills-based support. I focus on helping clients understand what’s happening beneath the surface, while also developing practical tools to manage distress in day-to-day life. Therapy with me is not about judgment, pressure, or having all the answers. It’s about creating a space where you can be honest, ask hard questions, and work at a pace that feels manageable. We will talk about what feels stuck, what feels scary to name, and what you’ve maybe been carrying quietly for a long time. You don’t have to be “ready” or certain to begin—just willing to show up.
