I view healing as an ongoing practice rather than a destination. When we bring an accepting awareness to the patterns held in the body, our authentic self can begin to emerge. As safety in the body grows, we become more able to connect with others and with the natural world. I support children and adults navigating stress, trauma, and relational attachment challenges through a neurobiological and somatic lens. My work integrates somatic awareness, the neurobiology of stress and trauma, and connection with nature to help the nervous system return to balance. I support clients in reconnecting with the intelligence of their bodies, cultivating greater awareness, attunement, and resilience. Together, we explore what the body is holding with curiosity and nonjudgment, supporting the restoration of safety and vitality. Connection with nature is central to my approach, offering grounding, regulation, and a reflection of our innate wisdom throughout the healing process. My work is collaborative and compassionate, honoring each client’s lived experience while supporting greater alignment within themselves and their lives. As a South Asian queer immigrant, I bring an intersectional, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed perspective, with an awareness of the impacts of colonial systems of oppression. This lens informs how I support clients navigating complex identities and lived realities. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 25 years in special education, supporting students with individualized education plans, as well as parents, educators, and administrators. I also have experience in play therapy and am a certified forest bathing guide. Alongside professional training, I integrate lived somatic awareness and attunement into my work with clients.
