Life transitions can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of who you are anymore. Maybe you’re navigating a divorce or separation, struggling in your relationships, adjusting to an empty nest, or simply realizing that the life you once knew no longer feels like it fits. I’m Nitza Santiago, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. My passion for helping others began long before becoming a therapist. After more than 20 years working in education and supporting children and families, I felt called to continue helping others in a deeper and more personal way, which led me to the counseling profession. Today, I specialize in working with adult women, particularly women 40+, experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, divorce, loss of identity, empty nest, grief, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. Together, we can work toward understanding what you’re experiencing, developing healthier boundaries, rebuilding your confidence, and helping you move forward with greater clarity and purpose. For clients who desire it, I also welcome the integration of Christian faith into the therapeutic process. I provide therapy in English and Spanish, with in-person sessions in Kissimmee and telehealth throughout Florida. You’ve spent a lot of time taking care of everyone else. Therapy can be a place to begin taking care of you.
