Hello, my name is Noelle Shimazu, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). I am originally from California and have lived in North Carolina since 2020. I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Science from East Carolina University. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my dog, trying new coffee shops, and getting lost in a good book. I enjoy working with individuals ages 4 and up, using a systemic approach to help individuals, couples, and families including the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities, navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I strive to create a space where clients feel both understood and empowered.
