I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who is passionate about helping individuals find healing, hope, and renewed purpose. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and compassionate space where clients can feel seen, heard, valued, and supported. I have a special passion for helping women who feel stuck, overwhelmed, wounded, or disconnected from themselves and others. Whether the pain stems from trauma, relationship struggles, loss, anxiety, shame, or difficult life circumstances, I believe healing is possible. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can process their experiences, develop practical tools for growth, and move toward a life marked by hope, freedom, and purpose. I specialize in working with women who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, difficult relationships, life transitions, low self-worth, and emotional wounds from the past. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move beyond simply surviving and begin thriving. Through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I help clients uncover their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Utilizing an eclectic counseling approach, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness practices, strengths-based counseling, solution-focused techniques, attachment-informed approaches, and faith-integrated counseling when desired by the client. I recognize that every individual’s journey is unique and tailor treatment to meet each client’s specific needs, goals, and personal story. In addition to my work with women, I specialize in ADHD assessment and treatment, anxiety disorders, emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and personal growth. I have completed extensive professional training and earned my ADHD Assessment & Treatment Certification (ADHD-PT®), equipping me to provide comprehensive ADHD assessment and evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. I have also pursued advanced trauma-focused training, including specialized education in complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and the neurobiological impact of trauma. My professional development includes training based on the work of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, author of The Body Keeps the Score, as well as advanced clinical coursework in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation. Committed to lifelong learning, I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Counseling specializing in faith and trauma. My research and training focuses on helping individuals—particularly women—find healing from past wounds, rebuild their sense of identity, and experience renewed hope through both evidence-based counseling and faith-informed principles. I believe that every person’s story matters and that healing happens when people are given a safe space to be authentic, understood, and supported. I strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance and trust where clients can explore difficult experiences without fear of judgment and develop the confidence to move forward. With more than 20 years of experience serving children, youth, and families through church ministry, I understand the complexities of life, relationships, faith, and personal growth. For clients who desire it, I a. comfortable integrating spiritual beliefs and Christian faith into the counseling process. When I am not counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, traveling, Bible journaling, organizing, and serving in children’s ministry.
