Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, complicated, or simply harder than it should. Whether you are struggling with relationships, communication, life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem, or patterns that feel difficult to change, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and begin moving forward. We are three individual clinicians—Jessica Hamel, LICSW; Lisa Merrell, MA, RDT, LCAT; and Janet Riza, LICSW—who provide individualized therapy in a warm, supportive, and authentic environment. Our work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and accepted. Through a variety of therapeutic approaches, we help individuals develop greater self-awareness, build healthier connections, communicate more openly and effectively, and better understand the experiences and patterns that shape their lives. We also have specialized experience providing court-ordered treatment, including working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system. We understand that mandated treatment can bring unique challenges, and we strive to create a therapeutic environment that is respectful, nonjudgmental, and focused on meaningful growth and personal accountability. Therapy is a place where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself. Together, we can begin to untangle the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be holding you back and explore new ways of responding, connecting, and moving through life. Our goal is not simply to help you get through what you are facing, but to help you develop the insight, confidence, and tools to live a more authentic, connected, and fulfilling life.
