Introduction

Therapy can be a place to explore the questions that don’t always have easy answers: Who am I? What do I want? What do I need from my relationships? And what parts of myself have I learned to hide, question, or compromise? I’m Olivia (she/her), and I work with individuals and couples navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, sexuality, and the ways we connect with ourselves and others. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, questioning aspects of your identity, navigating changes in desire or relationships, or trying to understand patterns that keep showing up, I help create space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, your body, and the people in your life, and explore what feels true for you — without judgment or pressure to have all the answers. My work is informed by my lived experiences as someone who identifies with sexual fluidity, as a multiracial individual, and as a woman. These experiences have shaped the way I understand identity as complex, fluid, and deeply influenced by culture, relationships, family, and larger systems. I have a particular appreciation for the complexities that can arise in interracial and multicultural relationships, including differences in culture, family expectations, identity, and belonging. I strive to create a space where you do not have to simplify or compartmentalize yourself to feel understood. As an integrative systemic therapist, my approach is relational, affirming, and culturally responsive. I believe our experiences cannot be separated from the relationships, families, cultures, communities, and systems we are part of. I draw from Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts work, Mindfulness-Based approaches, Somatic interventions, and Bowenian family systems work to help clients explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and the stories that shape how they understand themselves. I’m particularly interested in helping clients explore the difference between what they genuinely want and what they have been taught they should want. This can be especially meaningful when navigating mismatched libido, changing sexual desire, sexuality, gender, relationship structures, or major life and relationship transitions. Rather than treating these experiences as problems to be fixed, I approach them with curiosity and compassion, helping you better understand your desires, boundaries, needs, and relationships. For individual clients, therapy can be a space to explore identity, desire, relationships, and parts of yourself that may feel uncertain or difficult to understand. Together, we can make space for these questions without assuming you need to arrive at a particular answer. With couples, I help partners understand the emotional and relational patterns that can leave them feeling disconnected or stuck. We may explore intimacy, communication, attachment needs, trust, individual histories, cultural differences, and the expectations each partner brings into the relationship. For interracial and multicultural couples, this may also include exploring family and cultural dynamics, identity, race, belonging, and the ways larger social systems can enter the relationship. My goal is to help partners develop greater understanding, emotional safety, connection, and intention in their relationship. My approach is also grounded in social justice and decolonizing perspectives. I believe therapy should make room to examine the cultural messages and systems that shape how we understand our identities, bodies, relationships, sexuality, and what we believe is “normal.” I strive to offer care that is inclusive, culturally responsive, body-affirming, and attentive to the ways power, culture, and social expectations influence our relationships and sense of self. I earned my Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, with a specialization in Sex Therapy. My clinical training includes advanced education in sexuality, relationships, and inclusive clinical care, along with specialized training in Internal Family Systems, couples therapy, neurodiversity-affirming sex therapy, decolonizing and social justice-oriented therapy, and body-affirming practice. I also completed Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR) I & II and continue to pursue education across sexuality, relationships, Areas of Focus: Intimacy, communication & emotional connection Sexual functioning, concerns & desire differences Sexuality, gender & self-exploration Cultural, racial & multiracial identity exploration Relational uncertainty, transitions & relationship patterns Relationship identity, structures & nontraditional relationships LGBTQIA+, queer & kink-affirming care Infidelity, trust & relationship rebuilding Interracial & multicultural relationships Family-of-origin, power dynamics & systemic patterns Body image, embodiment & anti-fatness Neurodivergent experiences & neurodiversity-affirming care Specialized Training & Continuing Education: Sexual Attitude Reassessment (SAR) I & II — advanced training in sexuality, sexual attitudes, and inclusive clinical practice Decolonizing Therapy: Reimagining Therapy as Social Justice Work Dismantling Anti-Fatness in the Therapy Space Reclaiming the Body: Neurodiversity-Affirming Sex Therapy Through a Sensory and Relational Lens The Complete Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy Competency Course 2-Day Intensive Couples Therapy Level 1 Training Therapeutic Groups for Children and Adolescents: Creating Space for Healing and Growth I offer virtual and in-person therapy in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia.
