OSCAR SANCHEZ

My name is Oscar Adrian Sanchez. I attended college at Pacific Union College, and graduated from Walla Walla University. I hold a Master's Degree (MSW) and Bachelors (BSW) in Social Work. Previously I was an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) and have recently applied for my Licensed Social Work Associate & Independent Clinical (LSWAIC). I have worked in several non-profit sectors, including but not limited to Legal, Medical and the Community. Previously, I worked at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, in the Pediatric Inpatient Psych Unit (PCCA) and floated to the Adult Inpatient Psych unit. For years I worked in the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic and assisted other medical clinics. Throughout my career I have worked with a wide range of patients including children, adolescent, middle aged, and the elderly. I have experience working with a wide range of disorders such as PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Major Depression, Bipolar, Substance, Social Anxiety, OCD, Mood, and eating disorders, I love using a holistic approach by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Behavioral Therapy (BT). I love working with all genders, ages (12+), cultures, in a respectful, open, nonjudgmental manner. I provide a safe, respectful, confidential, laid back and comfortable environment.
