If you had to describe yourself to a stranger, would you use words that indicate value and goodness? Do you feel worthy of love and acceptance from others? Sadly for too many of us, the answer is no. Our confidence dwindles as we navigate difficult life events, traumas, transitions, and relationships. While low self-esteem is correlated with depression, anxiety, and low relationship satisfaction - high self-esteem can have physical health benefits, decrease feelings of stress, and increase overall wellbeing in both personal and professional capacities. Using a combination of techniques, we will explore how these life events, transitions, and relationships have impacted your sense of self. My goal as a marriage and family therapist is to create a warm, authentic, and inviting environment, to uplift and empower you, and to provide you with the tools you need to meet your goals and increase your self-esteem. Whether you are struggling with feelings of worthlessness, anxiety, depression, irritability, or disconnection – I believe you already have the ability to become the strongest version of yourself within. Together we can nurture the parts of you that need healing so you can flourish into the version of you that you’ve always hoped to be. Feel free to reach out via phone or email to schedule a consultation to see how Blu (Unlicensed co-therapist pup) and I might be able to help you navigate these vulnerable spaces in your life. We are excited to see you take this first step towards healing and are looking forward to hearing from you!
