Introduction

Hi, I’m Dr. Pamela Dunn, PhD, LPC. As a therapist, I understand that life doesn’t always go as planned, and sometimes it’s hard to make sense of what we’re going through or know what to do next. Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, struggling in a relationship, trying to manage anxiety, or carrying experiences from your past that still affect you today. Maybe you’re used to being the person everyone else depends on, but lately, you’re having a hard time managing everything yourself. Or maybe you know something needs to change, but you’re not quite sure where to start. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve a place where you can talk openly, feel understood, and work through things without worrying about being judged. I work with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and major life changes. I also have experience working with children and families navigating autism, behavioral concerns, and complicated family dynamics. My approach to therapy is compassionate, practical, and focused on what matters to you. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and EMDR. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with you to understand what you're experiencing, recognize patterns that may be holding you back, and find strategies that fit your life.
