I am Paris Haynes (she/her/hers) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who offers mindfulness based therapy to those who are struggling to feel present. In my work, I enjoy integrating eastern teachings with western research to facilitate a compassionate, safe and authentic healing space. I work with a diverse range of people including but not limited to the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC populations, neurodivergent individuals, and those living with anxiety, depression, navigating a major life transition, trauma processing, and/or intergenerational cycles. As a queer black therapist, I recognizes the importance of honoring one's identity and finding a safe space to navigate societal systems and pressures. I take a person-centered, holistic approach to therapy; we will not only focus on the mind but additionally the body and spirit. My therapeutic method is eclectic and draws from mindfulness based therapy, gestalt, existentialism and a rogerian approach. My goal is to create a safe and harmonious environment where you can process, heal and navigate life with a stronger sense of self.
