Introduction

I am a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Cleveland, Ohio, with over eleven years of dedicated service in the mental health field. I began my journey as a Mental Health case manager, where I provided support to professionals dealing with intensive cases across diverse settings, including residential, home/school-based, and foster care environments. During this time, I pursued my passion for counseling by earning my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, furthering my commitment to supporting individuals on their healing journeys. My areas of expertise encompass a wide range of mental health concerns, including Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, childhood behavior disorders, childhood development, ADHD, Suicidal Ideation/Self-harm, PTSD, self-esteem, parent/child relationships, and Body dysmorphia. With a genuine passion for advocating for individuals with eating disorders, I embraces a Health at Every Size Approach (HAES), recognizing and celebrating diversity in body types. Moreover, I specializes in trauma therapy, providing compassionate support to individuals navigating life after traumatic experiences. I am proficient in utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Solution-Focused treatment, Family-based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in empathy, patience, and understanding. I embodies a Rogerian approach, believing individuals deserve compassion and support without judgment or criticism. I obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hiram College and completed my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron. In my personal time, I finds joy in cooking, spending quality time with my family, engaging in joyful movement activities, and nurturing my creative pursuits. You can expect a warm, supportive, and empowering therapeutic experience tailored to your unique needs and goals with Patrice Treadwell as your therapist. Whether you’re seeking support for eating disorders, trauma recovery, or other mental health concerns, Patrice is dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and resilience.
