Introduction

I have been working as a counselor (supervised by a licensed counselor, registered counselor, and eventually as a fully Licensed Professional Counselor) since 2013. I primarily help young adults and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, symptoms of Bipolar I and II and/or substance use issues (combined with mood issues or addiction alone). I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (occasionally with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (along with elements of Gestalt when appropriate and useful) to assist clients to increase control over their own emotional states leading to increased quality of living characterized by emotional balance and overall stability.
