Introduction

With 25 years of experience in Higher Education and a heartfelt commitment to supporting others, Patty is currently in the concentration year of her Master of Social Work program, anticipating her role as a Clinical Therapist intern. As a parent of two, she returned to graduate school in midlife, driven by a desire to empower women and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Patty brings warmth, empathy, and a rich set of interpersonal, mentoring, and problem-solving skills shaped by both her professional background and personal journey. Trained in Parent and Infant Mental Health, Patty approaches therapy from an integrative perspective, thoughtfully blending cognitive, behavioral, and humanistic techniques to help clients explore their mental health and overall well-being. She is devoted to building deep, collaborative relationships, honoring each client’s unique story, and supporting individual agency and growth. Patty is passionate about fostering resilience, hope, and healing in every person she serves. Patty’s central goal is to empower caregivers to strengthen their capacity for supporting safe, regulated, and meaningful connections with themselves, their infants, and their loved ones. She holds deep trust and respect for the process of bearing witness to healing, growth, and change. Her own commitment to self-care includes exploring new ways to stay active, traveling to expand her horizons, cherishing time with family and friends, and spending time with her two dogs.
