I specialize in working with adults with ADHD, treatment-resistant depression, and trauma-related patterns. My training in psychiatry at Brown University shaped a strong interest in brain stimulation therapies and in understanding how neurobiology, psychology, and lived experience intersect over time. Many of the adults I work with are functioning well on the surface but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or dissatisfied with prior treatment that felt rushed or overly focused on symptom control. They’re often looking for something more thoughtful and integrated. My clinical approach centers on understanding the patterns that shape a person’s life, not just managing symptoms. I integrate psychotherapy and medication when appropriate and place a strong emphasis on clarity, continuity, and collaboration. My psychotherapy work is deeply informed by schema therapy concepts, which focus on the recurring emotional and relational patterns that often underlie mood, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. In sessions, I aim to create a steady, focused space where we can slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and work toward change that feels realistic and sustainable.
