With more than 40 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Paul Entner has spent his career helping individuals navigate life's challenges with wisdom, compassion, and hope. As the founder of Agape Counseling Center, he has dedicated decades to serving the community while mentoring future professionals and advancing the field of psychology. Dr. Entner believes meaningful change begins with understanding yourself. He provides a thoughtful, supportive environment where clients can explore life's struggles, gain new perspective, and discover they are often more resilient than they realize. His calm, compassionate approach helps clients find hope, healing, and practical ways to move forward. He has a special passion for working with adults age 60 and older, helping clients navigate retirement, grief, changing health, shifting family roles, life transitions, and questions of purpose. He also enjoys helping clients explore the connection between emotional well-being and spiritual growth, recognizing that for many people, lasting healing involves caring for both the mind and the spirit. Dr. Entner has extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive concerns, sexual issues, substance use disorders, and factors affecting spiritual growth. He also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders, allowing him to support clients facing both emotional and substance-related challenges. Throughout his career, Dr. Entner has taught at both the secondary and collegiate levels and has presented at regional and national professional conferences, reflecting his lifelong commitment to learning and excellence in clinical care. Clients often appreciate Dr. Entner's depth of experience, thoughtful insight, and genuine compassion. He is known for creating a respectful, encouraging space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. Outside of the office, Dr. Entner enjoys reading, walking, exercising, and volunteering in the community.
