I’m a Mental Health Counselor specializing in mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD, with a subspecialty in helping people recover from high-control societies such as cults and fundamentalist religions. From an early age, I’ve been drawn to helping people understand their thoughts and build meaningful connections—work that’s evolved over more than two decades in community building, education, and psychotherapy. Before becoming a therapist, I spent twelve years as a teacher and curriculum coordinator, specializing in supporting neurodivergent students, particularly those with ADHD, and designing individualized learning plans. These experiences cemented my belief that every person deserves an approach tailored to their unique needs—a belief that now shapes every therapy session I hold. In my practice, I focus on helping clients develop practical tools to create more manageable and functional lives while uncovering and amplifying the strengths they already possess. I meet clients where they are, build strong rapport, and work collaboratively toward their goals, weaving together a range of evidence-based approaches to meet the needs of each individual.
