My clients are men of all backgrounds and orientations — gay, straight, queer, trans, and gender-diverse — as well as LGBTQ+ couples, navigating questions of identity, relationships, and life transitions. Many are high-functioning and outwardly capable, yet internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or disconnected from themselves. They may be questioning long-held roles, relationships, or expectations — and sensing that what once worked no longer fits. They often need a space where they can slow down, feel understood in their cultural and relational context, and speak honestly without having to explain or defend who they are. I help clients make sense of emotional overwhelm, navigate periods of change, and develop a more grounded and sustainable relationship with themselves and others. My approach is integrative — drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive, narrative, and humanistic frameworks — and consistently affirming of LGBTQ+ experience. Sessions are warm and collaborative, with attention to the ways culture, identity, and relationships shape mental health. I offer therapy via telehealth to adults across California. If you're considering therapy, I'd encourage you to reach out. A brief consultation is a low-stakes way to get a sense of fit — no commitment required.
