Introduction

Ella Schreck, MA, LPCC, C-AAIS, is a dedicated child and adolescent mental health professional who blends clinical expertise with deep empathy. Holding a Master’s degree from Northwestern University, Ella brings over seven years of experience in early childhood development and acute mental health response to her practice. She specializes in working with youth ages 5–17, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation. Ella is certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI). Her warm, clinician-led approach creates a safe, supportive space where children can freely explore their emotions and build practical, healthy coping strategies. Guided by a lifelong love for animals and a belief in the profound healing power of the human-animal bond, Ella trained her own therapy dog, Tovah. Together, this dynamic duo volunteers in the community, bringing joy and comfort to children and families alike.
